The Workshop will be celebrating their one year anniversary this Saturday with plenty of activities that will keep your little ones entertained as you sip on a margarita. Festivities include an extra large jump castle, face painting, piñatas, bubble machines and crafts. From 1-4 pm there will be live music in the courtyard and every stall will be offering specials which include:

If you’re looking for a really great party...Cinco de Mex 1 Block Party (West Ashley location)
There’s no real question on who throws the coolest parties in Charleston (remember when they held a pro-am snowboarding contest...in Charleston?) and their recent ‘best margarita in town’ win from City Paper, makes Mex 1 the place to be for Cinco. This year’s celebration includes live music from Duda Lucena and reggae band, The Dubplates as well as performances from local Capoeira group (Brazilian martial arts), Maculele (Afro-Brazilian dance) and fire hoopers, Brushfire Collective. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10, here, or at the door for $15 and includes a free drink. If you’re unable to make it to West Ashley, the Sullivan’s Island location will also be running drink specials all day with live music! If you’re looking to go somewhere new...El Jefe Grand Opening
El Jefe Texican Cantina, which is taking over the space of Kingdom will be opening their doors to the public for the first time this Saturday at noon. It’s hard to know what to expect, but El Jefe is promising a fiesta with drink specials running all day and DJ MooMoo kicking off at 10 pm. If you're more of a beer guy/gal...Rusty Bull 1st Anniversary Party
If tequila isn’t really your thing, Rusty Bull will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary all weekend. All beers (except high gravity) will be only $5, with two brand new beers being released Orange Summer, a citrus and vanilla pale ale, and Tu Abuela Caliente, a blonde stout with cocoa, cayenne and other Mexican coffee spices.
