Gourmet and Grapes

Location: The Sanctuary at Kiawah
A culinary extravaganza that brings together award winning wineries and chefs from Charleston and beyond, Gourmet and Grapes serves as a fundraiser for MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center and has raised over 2.1 million dollars over the past nine years. The event will kick off with Gourmet & Grain on Thursday featuring some of the most acclaimed pit masters in the Southeast and lots of Bourbon. The weekend will continue with a private black tie dinner, a luncheon hosted by legendary chef Frank Lee, the signature Wine Odyssey Gala, and conclude with a champagne brunch. Lowcountry Chef’s Feast

hosted by The Lowcountry Food Bank, an organization that supports programs to fight childhood hunger in our community. This year’s event will be lead by Chef Jacques Larson of The Obstinate Daughter and Wild Olive and feature thirty of Charleston’s most prominent chefs. Featured chefs include Kevin Johnson of The Grocery, John Zucker of Purlieu and Cru and Jeremiah Bacon of The Indigo Dining Group. SEWE (Southeastern Wildlife Exposition)

Officially the expo is a three-day celebration of wildlife and nature through fine art, conservation education, sporting demonstrations, food, drink and the people who honor them, but more importantly SEWE is the opportunity to see cute dogs do cool stuff. Some popular events include: Gallery hours in Charleston Place, DockDogs in Brittlebank Park, Birds of Prey Flight Demos in Marion Square, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary Show in the Gaillard and The Orianne Society presentations in Marion Square. Folly Gras
